i’m from central Georgia and working as a special ed paraprofessional. i’m tired of doing one of the hardest jobs in the school but getting paid significantly less than everyone around me, including the secretaries, kitchen workers, and custodians. luckily i haven’t fried my brain too badly and have always been a quick study, so I’m hoping that the skills i learn here will one day translate to a job that doesn’t keep me well below the poverty line.
Hey! I’m just starting up on this too. I’m so sorry you’re getting underpaid working such a tough job. I can’t even imagine having the resilience for that. Here’s hoping we can both get this under our belts efficiently! Good luck!
