Got partway through Rails Tutorial - best way to switch to Rails 6?

#1

Any advice - I’ve worked partway through the Rails tutorial using Rails 5, and had started on the sample_app - so I have a repo called “sample-app” in my Github.

I then bought a copy of the new Rails 6 tutorial, and I want to carry on from there. What’s the least confusing way to do that? Start from scratch? Grab one of the branches from here and then just change the remote so that I can carry on just pushing to my own repo? https://github.com/mhartl/sample_app_6th_ed/branches/active

Reasonably comfortable with command line but I’m not sure which will be least confusing to do later on.

I was overthinking this, I ended up just cloning and resetting the remote url as described here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/18200248/cloning-a-repo-from-someone-elses-github-and-pushing-it-to-a-repo-on-my-github
