Google Project - Sign in button alignment?

#1

Hello all, I am making the google project and have it 90-95% of the way done but one thing is really nagging me. The sign in button (id=Sign) I created in my nav bar is aligning itself oddly with the other text links. It is currently lining the top edge of the bottom with the top edge of the other text links (I included a snapshot of the problem as well as some code). I tried changing the margin of the button individually as well as the padding but I can’t get it to budge just that scoshe up to align the text elements like the real mccoy. Any help would be appreciated, sorry if this isn’t formatted perfectly.

li {
float: left;
display: block;
text-align: center;
padding: 14px 15px;
text-decoration: none;
color:#4F4F4F;
font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;
font-size:13px;
}
#Sign {
background-color:#4584EF;
color:white;
font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;
padding: 8px 10px;
font-weight: bold;
border-radius: 5px;
-webkit-appearance: none;
}

I actually came up with a solution on my own for this, though i dont know how good it was in the grand scheme. I just set the button position to relative then set used “bottom: Xpx” to shift it up a little.
