[Full Stack Ruby on Rails] Courses for Back-end Development

Hi everyone,

I’m currently following the Full Stack Ruby on Rails track. My goal is to start freelancing after I finished TOP as a Back-end developer (involving Ruby and RoR in this case).

The question I have in my mind is: is it enough to finish the track with the RoR course (and skip both the HTML/CSS and JavaScript ones)? If no, what would be your recommendation on the last part of the courses to follow?

Many thanks,

You should follow all the courses in order to become a fullstack developer. You will need JS and CSS to make your sites interesting. In a lot of cases, it’s impossible to do things effectively without JS. Being a freelancer, you’ll need to be very well rounded and have more skills than just Ruby.

Al right. Thanks for your feedback
