Cannot type the @ since switching to linux

#1

Hi guys,
I’ve followed the TOP advice and got myself ubuntu. I selected German in the keyboard options. All keys, also the special German keys such as üöä are working fine. The only thing not working is the @ sign. Here, I copy and pasted an @ sign from google, but I just want to get it to work

In my keyboard layout (see screenshot attached) it shows that I should be able to type the at-sign as usual using CTRL+ALT+Q, but it doesn’t work.

If anyone has an idea, that would be great!

Can someone switch the category to “HELP”? I wanted to post this in the help section.

I solved the problem, needed to type AltGr+Q. Topic can be closed
